Singer, songwriter and Maisha Superstar Season one winner, PHY has released a new song titled Ruka.
She has featured rappers King Kaka and Khaligraph Jones.
Ruka is the title track for her new album Phylosophy which is set for release later in the week.
Ruka
is a song for the free and fun loving individual that doesn't
necessarily need to be in a club to have fun but pretty much anywhere.
It's that feel good song that lifts your spirits and by all means
everyone is allowed to shout themselves hoarse every time the chorus
comes on.
"I
can't be the only one that locks myself in my room then jumps
frantically on my bed to blaring music. Luckily I made us a theme song,"
says PHY.
PHY has featured Khaligraph Jones and King Kaka on this song.
"Working
with King Kaka and Khaligraph on this record gave the song a dope feel
and made it relatable to everyone across the board," adds PHY.
Ruka was produced by Timwork and the video was directed by Moses Osidiana of Brainworks.
