KENYA GETS FOUR NOMINATIONS IN KORA AWARDS 2016
KENYA managed to bag four nominations for the 2016 edition of the KORA Awards - All Africa Music Awards .
Boy-group Sauti Sol was nominated in the Best Group category, alongside other African heavyweights like Nigeria's Bracket and TooFan from Togo.
Singers Victoria Kimani and Avril were nominated in the Best Female Artiste East Africa category.
They will face, among others Vanessa Mdee (Tanzania), Juliana Kanyomozi and Irene Ntale
(Uganda) and Knwoles Butera of Rwanda.
Gospel artiste Gloria
Muliro was nominated in the Best Female Spiritual Music
category alongside other singers
among them South Africa's Rebecca Malope and Kenya-based Eritrean gospel
singer Sarah Fana Hagos.
