YouTube Releases Top Videos Of 2015

YouTube, world’s largest video platform, has launched YouTube Rewind 2015, a reflection of videos that captured attention of Kenyans from January to December 2015.
YouTube Rewind is an annual collection of videos produced, created, and uploaded on YouTube, as well as tribute video celebrating the year’s biggest videos, moments and creators.
YouTube Rewind 2015 reveals that Diamond Platnumz' Nasema Nawe ft Khadija Kopa, was the top music video of the year. 

See You Again by American rapper, Wiz Khalifa ft Charlie Puth, was second, while Kenya’s Sauti Sol came in third with their song NNerea ft Amos and Josh. 
The fourth top music video of 2015 was Nana by Diamond featuring Mr Flavour, followed by Post To Be by Omarion ft Chris Brown & Jhene Aiko; Taylor Swift Bad Blood ft Kendrick Lamar and Chekecha Cheketua by Alikiba. Lean On by Major Lazer & DJ Snake; Sugar by Maroon5 and Baadaye by Kenyan artistes Amos and Josh also made to the top ten music videos.

The year reveals popularity of Television moments on YouTube both in Kenya and globally. Out of top 10 lists, six slots were local TV moments and they include; Doctored Abuse Expose by Citizen TV, Janet Mbugua Labor Prank On Hussein Mohammed, Larry Madowo’s interview with socialite Shaniqwa on NTV’s The Trend show, Pastor Ng'ang'a Unmasked interview by Citizen TV and Professor Hammo on Churchill Show - My President is Black.

When it comes to music, 2015 saw some of our fastest-rising videos of all time. Wiz Khalifa's See You Again reached over one billion views in just six months and Adele reached the year's top 10 in just a few weeks. The top 10 music videos collectively in the world, have more than 66 million subscribers and people spent over 37,000 years playing them in 2015.
